Q: Why do you have a Brutalist Website?
A: A: We wanted to present Queens-based artist Sarah Madden's work cleanly and without distractions in this interim site–keeping it as simple as can be. If the front-end is brutalist, the back-end is as well: Rather than using a complicated CMS the website simply pulls images from the artist's Instagram feed, displaying only those posts she has liked.
