Q: Why do you have a Brutalist Website?
A: I’m into web art and web design that challenges conventions. Coding itself always feels linear and strict to me, so I love to see how people play. Brutalism challenges the functionality that sadly rules the majority of the web and amazes my own beliefs of what a webpage should be. I sketch out my webpages first and then code without a template. I am still learning how to code, so the process is time-consuming and filled with rookie mistakes. But I learn a lot and always pick up stuff that allows me to think of future projects or applications.
