Enes (Mustafa Enes)
Q: Why do you have a Brutalist Website?
A: I was redesigning my blog and actually I was struggling to make decisions about colors, spacing etc. I couldn't make it alive because of this uncertainty, although I really needed a new online presence. So I simply gave up designing a modern-looking website to rather give more weight on the content itself while not ruining UX and accessibility. I just couldn't afford the required effort to prepare a great-looking design. Also I didn't want just-another-developer-portfolio. This is possibly my best design to date, not only as it's very simple and to-the-point but actually it has an impressively good UX thanks to the underlying routing logic which especially made a big difference on mobile.
Q: Who designed the website?
A: I designed.
Q: Who coded the website?
A: I coded. And I opened the code here: https://github.com/scriptype/non-fancy-homepage
Q: With what kind of editor?
A: I mostly used Vim for everything in the design other than times when I simply make quick tweaks on code in Tumblr editor (yes, it's a tumblr blog btw).
