W.A.F. We Are Fellows (Malte Müller)

Q: Why do you have a Brutalist Website?
A: our portfolio is an attempt at an honest represenation of digital work, without flourish and without tranforming it into other formats. we also approached to the functional structure in a very straightforward and rational manner, by displaying every image on our site, sorted by brightness from light to dark. in this way, the content is open for both an immediate, visual access as well as for navigation by client and project. the site is also technically rock-solid and very fast. this simple and rational approach to problem-solving is what interests us about brutalism in architecture. we would like to see it replicated in the digital realm.

Q: Who designed the website?
A: us, W.A.F.
Q: Who coded the website?
A: we also wrote the code ourselves, using the magnificient Kirby CMS as well as some custom-written plugins.
Q: With what kind of editor?
A: in case you're referring to the coding environment, we use Panics's excellent IDE Coda with our own project scaffolding based on scss, jquery and grunt.
