VTF (Velvetyne Type Foundry)

Q: Why do you have a Brutalist Website?
A: Velvetyne produces brutalist fonts since the beginning, and, as such, has the brutalist culture in its heart. Its first websites were raw html with raw punk webfonts and we wanted to keep this spirit as we created our new websites. Velvetyne gives away open-source fonts. It's a free gift. We think that we don't need to be nicer and that we can have a rough identity, those wanting our fonts will come to us.
Q: Who designed the website?
A: Velvetyne member Raphaël Bastide is the author of this website. He was helped by Étienne Ozeray. Jérémy Landes made two major updates following Raphaël spirit.

Q: Who coded the website?
A: The same guys who made the design. Code is design.
Q: With what kind of editor?
A: Velvetyne website was coded using ofont, a web-foundry architecture based on Processwire. We mainly used Atom as a code editor.
