txti (Barry T. Smith)

Q: Why do you have a Brutalist Website?
A: Txti is a deliberate counterpoint to the state of the average website today with ever growing size and complexity. It's a site that really goes back to the vision of the web: anyone can use it, it's flexible, it allows fast information exchange using hypertext and good URLs. There is no marketing or agenda outside of making something usable for everyone in the world.

Q: Who designed the website?
A: I did! (Barry T. Smith) Most of the design wasn't visual, but UX with an extreme minimalism ... like a hiker packing their bag for a long journey. Every little bit matters.
Q: Who coded the website?
A: I did! I'm not a backed developer, but this is so basic that it was easy to do.
Q: With what kind of editor?
A: I think I was trying out Brackets, the free code editor, when coding txti.
