Q: Why do you have a Brutalist Website?
A: twotimesone.com exists out of manually written lines of code: html, css and borrowed javascript. We did not use a CMS, because it was developed rather naively as a working template for the design, which then grew to house all the content and features. We organised and communicated two open calls on the website and kept adding new elements throughout one year. It is therefore very pragmatically designed and that is reflected in its graphic appearance.
