Q: Why do you have a Brutalist Website?
A: I just got bored by pixel perfect sites. And I wanted to add randomness, in the form of content and layout.
Q: Who designed the website?
A: I did
Q: Who coded the website?
A: I coded the site from scratch. Although I'm very familiar with frontend development and its various frameworks and tools, I deliberately decided to not use CSS frameworks like bootstrap or even javascript helpers like jQuery, it's all vanilla javascript. I put the css and js inside the html and not in separate files, I don't use external fonts or any icons besides ASCII. It's just 1 file that gets served.

The code for finding random contrasting colors and deciding if the font color should be black or white is from various discussions on stackoverflow. It's far from perfect, there are times where the colors are very similar, where the elements overlap and the arrows seem to follow a strange path. So my implementation has bugs, but I decided to keep them as a feature ;)
Q: With what kind of editor?
A: I use "sublime text", but there's no particular feature that was needed for this site, any text editor would have done :)
