Q: Why do you have a Brutalist Website?
A: Because a site with loads of gratuitous interactions seemed more fun and more demonstrative of the kind of work I make and want to make more of than a straightforward portfolio—hopefully it means that people will ask me to do more semi-nonfunctional stuff with lots of interactivity! It also felt like a good chance to be completely narcissistic—building and designing it felt a bit like trying to select the most over-the-top Bebo skin or having the best MSN tagline.
