Q: Why do you have a Brutalist Website?
A: We wanted to marked departure from conventional photographer portfolios, the distinctly solid-style website underscores the conceptual approach of Norman Behrend, and specifically his grouping of pictures by projects. The unusual juxtaposition of typography and imagery opens up both direct visual and textual access to his work, while the subtle use of color adds an element of surprise to the purposefully clean layout of the website.
