Q: Why do you have a Brutalist Website?
A: I offered to design a site for Leo since we’ve been friends for quite some time, which gave me the feeling that I knew how to represent him well. It wasn’t so much a choice to design a ‘brutalist site’ as it was a decision not to use conventional web design techniques. Both Leo and myself were excited to do something that felt fresh and was a new experience for his work on the web.
