Q: Why do you have a Brutalist Website?
A: I want my personal site to be playful and fun without having to apologize for anything so I got some ideas from brutalist and antidesign aesthetics. I like brutalist web design (and architecture) because it’s not always visually pleasing, but it can be visually functional. People don’t like it but they keep on looking and discovering it. With antidesign, I somehow like how it pisses off ‘designers’ today. I think brutalism and antidesign is the deadpool of design universe.
