Q: Why do you have a Brutalist Website?
A: the website is designed for a podcast by journalist Kasper Jacek. The podcast is about the New York slums in the 1800’s and is supported by some fantastic and rough images by the podcast’s protagonist Jacob A. Riis. I wanted the design to compliment the imagery and give the same sense of blunt roughness that they portrait.

A: it is made with the Lay Theme by Armin Unruh for WordPress - also using some custom css.
