Q: Why do you have a Brutalist Website?
A: GRMMXI is graphic design collective of 13 people. We started out as a group of friends and set up a tumblr to post design jokes, bloopers and surplus from school/work work. Even when we started getting actual commissions we still didn't want to present our body of work in the form of slick, "professional" webdesign. The form of default tumblr blog feed was preserved to blur the distinction between lols and "serious" work and to oppose the aesthetics of self promoting portfolio sites.
