Q: Why do you have a Brutalist Website?
A: We thought it fitted the DIY aesthetic of the film festival we designed the website for, the website was to be used for a few things: show an Instagram feed, allow people to upload submissions and read information and a program of the festival. We decided to make the instagram a main feature of the website and put it right in the middle of the site, putting buttons around it to access all the other content. The result was that the typography stretches around the image in the middle.
