Q: Why do you have a Brutalist Website?
A: Brutalist websites are something I have seen more and more of recently. At first I wasn't too sure about them, but after a bit of time I found I was quite drawn to brutalist web design. So, I thought I would have a go at designing my own brutalist landing page. Designing a brutalist website provided the opportunity do something completely different from my day to day work. Eschewing the usual must-haves for modern websites was an incredibly cathartic process; there are no fancy animations, transitions or weighty plugins. There are only 2 colors and 1 font. For a bit of added fun you can change colors, border thickness and border styles to come up with a completely unique look.

A: Coded in PHPStorm using Gulp, Sass and the Bootstrap v4 framework.
